Hi purps, as aligot wrote above, the Immaculate Conception isn't to be confused with the virgin birth.
However on a slightly topic-related tangent, Islam taught the Immaculate Conception as doctrine well before Roman Catholicism did! (and the fact that Islam was present in southern Europe for a few centuries until it was driven out might suggest that Saint Bernadette may have actually heard of the phrase 'Immaculate Conception' after all )

however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.

The nekkidness was a result of being drunk and then Ham disrespected his dad by not covering him up but instead going and blabbing about it - I reckon that behaviour would even merit a good ass-kicking today unless your dad wasn't someone whose honour was worth defending!

He even sat on my lap for about 10 minutes whilst the interloper was sitting next to me. He grumbled a lot - but that doesn't matter because she is stone deaf lol! He's gone away to sleep in his own safe space now. I don't think the arguing is over yet but we may not be far off.

Well, the new addition arrived home yesterday. Yorkie isn't too happy at the moment because the new kitty chased him last night! I'm giving him extra attention but I've had to let him go outside this morning, hoping that he'll come back in. He knows he's loved here, I can't do anything else other than let him be the cat he is. I know he can look after himself if he won't come back in - plus he has his other residence down the street lol!

I understand your fears heyfea. I studied Islam because I also wanted to know whether what is so often portrayed is genuine Islam - believe me, it isn't!
What the former Muslim lady wrote about conditions in Egypt is sadly most likely true. What must be realised though is that the form of sharia being practised in most Muslim countries is also corrupt. The Muslims I studied with were taught (to my surprise at the time!) that there is NO true Islamic state anywhere on earth - not even Saudi Arabia (betrayed by its' very name!). I will also say with hand on heart that if there ever was a GENUINE Islamic state, I would feel safer living there than I do in this current so-called free society.
I just wish the majority genuine Muslims would stand up and be counted. Their God will record their guilt of silence against them
my mother retired from her full-time job recently and has started attending meetings again.
she also has plenty of time to think about her wayward children, including me.

I guess I'm trusting my life and my future to Jehovah just as you are but in the only way I can at the moment. we can leave him to judge all our hearts."
